This project is assessing the immediate impacts of Cyclone Gabrielle on indigenous ecosystems and species in affected areas of Aotearoa New Zealand. It will evaluate the vegetation cover, including native, non-native, and mixed vegetation types, to understand the extent of the damage caused by the cyclone and identify the specific impacts on indigenous species within the affected areas.
