Groundwater sampling in flood-inundated areas

As the regions affected by Cyclone Gabrielle transition into recovery, we are providing advice on the contamination of drinking water boreholes, in collaboration with ESR. This project is undertaking groundwater sampling in the Hawke’s Bay region to establish the extent of potential groundwater contamination due to floodwater inundation, from a public health perspective.
