Project Summary

This collection of projects explored the development and testing of resilience indicators for infrastructure networks. The initial focus was on transport infrastructure for the Auckland region, which was then expanded to include other infrastructure types (water, electricity and telecommunications).

The project completed an Auckland resilience assessments based on the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UNISDR) Local Urban Indicators (LUI) tool, and generated a report for Auckland Council to consider in developing their future resilience plans.
