Professional Development Opportunity: Planning For Non-Planners

planning for non planners 2024

10 April 2024

>> Are you a natural hazards researcher or scientist working in the planning space?

>> Do you know how and when your work can inform land use planning?

The Resilience Challenge has been collaborating with EQC Toka Tū Ake and the New Zealand Planning Institute (NZPI) to offer professional development courses specifically for natural hazards researchers and scientists working in the planning and RMA space. We’re really excited to be able to offer these courses again in May 2024.

Planning for Non-Planners is for natural hazards researchers and scientists whose work has the potential to inform planning outcomes. This course will help you to gain a better understanding of how the system actually works in practice, where your work ‘fits’, and how it can contribute to planning outcomes.

This guided online course will be 4 hours (approx.) in duration, with opportunities to engage in discussion.

Course date: Tuesday 28th May 2024

Cost: FREE

Registration will be on a ‘first in, first served’ basis. Please register thoughtfully; to ensure course quality and provide space for discussion, spaces are limited.

This course is offered fees free thanks to funding provided by EQC Toka Tū Ake.
