This session will present details of a new funding opportunity for Aotearoa New Zealand-based researchers, facilitated by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE), on behalf of the European Union.
Horizon Europe is the European Union (EU)’s largest ever programme for research and innovation. It tackles climate change, helps to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and boosts the EU’s competitiveness and growth.
Pillar 2 of Horizon Europe Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness is now open to applications from New Zealand researchers and organisations. New Zealand-based researchers can now join or lead Horizon Europe projects and receive funding on equal terms with their European counterparts.
Professor Iain White of the the University of Waikato is the National Contact Point for Horizon Europe on behalf of MBIE and will be presenting the session.
