Co-leader, Coastal Hazards
Emma is a Lecturer in the School of Environment at The University of Auckland. Her research interests span coastal hazards, coastal geomorphology and coastal management. Emma joined the Challenge in 2016 after completing her PhD in Environmental Science at James Cook University in Townsville, Australia. Emma's research background is in coral reef science. Along with her research for the Resilience Challenge, she continues to pursue research in tropical coral reef contexts.
