Advisory groups
Māori Advisory Group
The Māori Advisory Group’s role is to provide advice to the Challenge on implementation of Vision Mātauranga and wider cultural matters including intellectual property issues where relevant to Māori as specified in the Intellectual Property Management Plan. It advises the Director, Governance Group and Science Leadership Team on events in Te Ao Māori that may affect the Challenge. The Māori Advisory Group may also facilitate engagement with Māori stakeholders and support consultation between the Challenge and Māori interests.
End-User Advisory Group
The End-User Advisory Group provides advice to the Director, Governance Group and Science Leadership Team to ensure sectors and agencies with an interest in natural hazards resilience are understood and able to influence the research priorities of the Challenge. The End-User Advisory Group may facilitate engagement with a stakeholder network of agencies operating in relevant sectors
International Science Advisory Group
The International Science Advisory Group provides advice to the Director, Governance Group and Science Leadership Team to provide inputs on science quality control of proposed research and insights into new international science advances across the broad field of natural hazards resilience that may influence the research priorities of the Challenge.
